From 92′-93′, he wrote/directed/acted in a musical with original title “Alferd Packer: The Musical.” Word reached MTV’s ear that the Sundance Film Festival was unresponsive to his request to display the film to audiences. MTV generated a news segment out of this event and managed to communicate with the people at Sundance Film Festival. In the end, Parker sold the film and the musical was renamed to “Cannibal! The Musical.” It became an instant hit.
